Siesta Key Street Musician

This guy was sitting outside Beach Bazaar on Siesta Key playing an electric guitar and an electric bass guitar at the same time. The bass strings he mostly noodled openly without fretting, while he tapped the highly amplified guitar - which was apparently in some sort of open tuning. Most of the stuff he played during the time I observed him was primitive free-form hippie-metal-jazz originals, kind of standing at the three-way intersection of Pat Metheny, Eddie Van Halen and Buckethead; or to put it another way, kind of like if Hasil Adkins were trying to play Frank Zappa's "Rubber Shirt".
